Download Audio
Welcome to the audio download page. This still contains
mainly Christian content in Polish, and will be supplemented by Christian and also general content in other languages.
Items are classified below in lists section by section. The most recent items are at the top of each list.
I have now needed to start rotating the material in this section, so eight earlier sermons from the Warsaw Church have
been taken down. They are still in the list, but not as hypertext, and these you can still get - one at a time
over e-mail or the lot on a single CD. If demand is high, I might ask you to cover the costs of sending the CD
if it is outside Poland and as long as you can afford it, but I'll try not to. But do please listen to the ones
that are up first, and after you've enjoyed and been blessed by those,
if you want the earlier ones that you missed, don't be afraid to let me know.
Here we see recent pictures of two of the Preachers of the Polish language sermons. Click on
the picture for details about the church here in Warsaw,
or contact me to arrange collection for
visiting one Sunday, as it is not the easiest to find the first time you go there.
I have tried to make the files as compact as possible. You should find that after a short buffering time you
can listen real time to the spoken word material even from a good dial-up connection.
If you have enjoyed these recordings, or have any feedback on technical matters or thematic ones for that
matter, I would be very pleased to receive feedback either by e-mail or on the Bulletin Board.

2. Readings - English language
Upcoming projects for 2005 include an audiobook of the United Nations Declaration of Human Rights, something from
Foxe's Book of Martyrs and an audio anthology of poems by Gerard Manley Hopkins, William
Cowper, John Donne and others which are included in the canon of great English literature, as
well as some Bunyan and some more Spurgeon. Watch this space.
3. Music - Various languages
4. Other - Various
Now if this first item doesn't make your hair stand on end, I don't know what will:
- Part one Vladimir Khailo, hero of the faith under Soviet Persecution, give a talk in England's Wem Baptist Church shortly after his release from a psychiatric prison
in the Ukraine in 1988, where he was confined for his role in leading the Unregistered Church. All of the crucial
details in this almost unbelievable tale were independently verified by Christian interdenominational sources backed
up by government intelligence from the UK, the US and the then West Germany. First Part. In Russian and English. I was
privileged to be Khailo's translator for his UK visit, so please excuse the high-pitched voice - I was still very young at the time. Also there are one or two small errors in the translation, which you may be able to spot. The location of this particular talk was Wem Baptist Church in Buckinghamshire.
- Part two of Vladimir Khailo's talk in Wem Baptist Church, England. (Together the two parts make up about 1 hour and twenty minutes and 9.3 MB sampled at 16 KB/s. About 60% is in the first part.)
One footnote to this - since putting this up on the web, one member of Vladimir's family searching on an engine found it, and I now have a re-established contact with this brother after many years during which we had lost contact. Glory to God.
I was sent this lovely photo of his thriving family. May God bless and keep them all.
If you have any ideas or requests for a reading, then please contact me.
